Mann United is set to close a deal with RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesco.
Rasmus Hojlund’s Manchester United Nightmare could end once Benjamin Sesco signs. The star of RB Leipzig is set to imminently complete the sensational move towards Old Trafford.
The Red Devils agreed to a £74 million deal with his current side, and Sesco flew to the UK for medical care with United. Once the contract was made into a rubber stamp, we could see the door open to Hozilund leaving Old Trafford.
The Italian side AC Milan has an interest in Danish striker and, according to Corriere Dello Sport, flew to the UK to hold talks. It has been suggested that the Red Devils are keen to lend and send Hozilund.
Milan is willing to take the striker into a temporary deal, but wants to insert and buy the £30 million option. It represents the huge £72 million losses United spent in 2023 to sign Hosilund from Atalanta on the Italian side.
The 22-year-old has since scored 26 goals in 95 appearances in all competitions. United are open to let him go, but Hodzilund has made his preference very clear – to stay in Manchester.

Speaking on the club’s preseason tour, he said:
“I’m still very young. I think people sometimes forget that. I’m 22. Obviously not all strikers score 100 goals at 22 (like Erling Haaland).
“But I’ve learned a lot. I think you can see in my game. I’m starting to develop the basics and get better. Now, I’m pretty much on my own, and I’m doing really well in the seasons so far.
“Competition is fine for me. It makes me sharp. I’m ready. I feel sharp, so I welcome everything coming. I think competition is good, and it only sharpens the team.”

Hojund remains on his contract at Old Trafford for three years, but once Sesko is signed, he falls to Pecking Order. The Slovenian scored 21 goals in all competitions in the first half of Leipzig.
All of his signatures are part of a major recruitment drive from Reuben Amorim’s side, and will try to add more goals following the previous disastrous campaign. Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo have both already been signed with a total of £133 million.
United will launch a Premier League campaign against Arsenal at Old Trafford in more than a week. Before that, they faced Italian side Fiorentina in the final preseason game of the summer.
