Oliver Grassner’s Crystal Palace contract is set to expire in the summer of 2026, and there is also uncertainty about the future of Starmen’s Ebekieze and Oliver Grassner
Oliver Glasner has shown that Crystal Palace’s transfer business will shape whether or not they will sign an extension of the contract. The Austrian now claims there are no negotiations on new terms and conditions in which his existing deal, which is set, which is due to expire in 2026.
Glasner admitted that the Eagles learned the outcome of their Europa League appeal with the CAS on Monday, and were “pretty passive” in the market, only bringing back-up goalkeeper Walter Benitez and left-back Borna Sosa. When asked if it could have an impact on the palace transfer deal, or his future, he said: “We’ll see.”
The former Eintrak Frankfurt boss also refused to assure Arsenal’s target, Ebeki Eze, was placed. Glasner quized whether Eze is confident that she will remain with the club beyond the September 1 deadline.

England International Centre Bagguegh has also become the final 12 months of his contract in southeast London. Liverpool has been closely monitoring his situation, but Newcastle and Tottenham have seen bids denied earlier. The FA Cup winner boss claims Guehi will ultimately decide what will happen next.
He explained: “We have the same fate, but we cannot speak on behalf of Mark. Ultimately, it is always a player’s decision, and Mark decides his future.
“Of course, everyone wants to sign a new deal to Mark. At least there are everyone connected to Crystal Palace. Everyone wants to keep their team together last season. That’s a huge achievement for the club, but we don’t know what will happen in this crazy transfer market at times.”
Glasner wants two new additions, defender and forward, after striker Eddie Nketier is ruled out for up to three months with a hamstring injury.
The striker misses two months of action while working on his recovery, but Glasner feels it’s necessary for an extra four weeks to speed up alongside winger Matthews Franca and right-back Caleb Kulha.
The 50-year-old said, “It’s not about me wanting to invest in, it’s about Crystal Palace. My expertise and my advice are what Crystal Palace should do to be competitive in four competitions.
However, Glasner ruled out Chelsea’s exiled Raheem Sterling’s move, revealing that the palace’s uncertain European future had no effect on the pursuit of transfer targets.
