Manchester United are planning to sell Alejandro Garnacho this summer, but wants to cut the price tag of £50 million from £80 million in January – but Chelsea is trying to address the lower value of Argentina international
Alejandro Garnacho wants Chelsea and Chelsea to Alejandro Garnacho. But whether he is the next member of Manchester United’s “Bomb Squad” remains a question.
Of the five players, Reuben Amorim, the only one who was pushed away from United’s first team this summer was Barcelona lender Marcus Rashford, who expressed his desire to leave. Garnacho, Antony, Tyrrell Malacia, Jadon Sancho – ironically, after Chelsea decides to pay a fine to cancel their summer transfer obligations, ironically returning to Manchester – everything remains on the scene.
However, Argentina’s international Garnacho appears most likely to come next through the exit door. His talent, a regular since the arrival of Reuben Amorim, doesn’t matter, but the Portuguese had his attitude and the drama of 21 years old.

“Along with Garnacho, I think you can understand and you can see that he is talented, he is a truly talented boy,” Amorim said early in the summer. However, his post-match comments were only his replacement in the Europa League final, but his final straw.
“I think it’s obvious that Garnacho feels like he wants something different with different leadership. “So I don’t think that’s the problem. Sometimes you adapt to one man, you have a connection. At other times you want a new challenge.”
Chelsea believes Garnacho, who has not been on the US preseason tour, can shine for them in the Premier League. Garnacho believes that too.
He is eager to move to Stamford Bridge and has already agreed to personal terms for the switch to West London.
The question is whether Chelsea will meet United’s £50 million price tag. That’s significantly lower than the £80 million the Red Devils were hoping for when Napoli made the call in January, but the position has changed. United are apparently no longer very keen to keep him while Napoli moves to Nolangu instead.
Additionally, United were able to bring in more than £200 million on attacks on new look of Brian Mbeumo, Mash Cunya and Benjamin Sesco.
Chelsea are keen to close the transaction as quickly as possible, but still want to pay less. United have so far claimed that is the price. Take it or leave it as is.
Therefore, Garnacho continues to train in red, away from United’s first team, rather than blue as Chelsea’s latest shiny new acquisition.
