The new signatures Mohammed Kudus and Mathys Tel can replicate some of Maddison’s creative presence, but Spurs could enter the market again. They were already trying to bring in a progressive midfielder to Morgan Gibbs White before their approach was rejected, so he made a U-turn to sign a new deal.
Such plans seem to have already been accelerated. Sky Sports claims that the Spurs are interested in Como midfielder NicoPas, with some reports suggesting that the bid has been rejected.

It could bring Spurs’ attention back to Ebeletti Eze. They were first linked to Crystal Palace and the British guy before Arsenal entered the race and moved in for Gibbs White instead.

The gunners appear to be stalling as they try to get eze for a figure lower than the £68 million release clause that expired last week, but the palace is demanding a similar fee to sell him this month.
The Spurs already sparked a £60 million release clause for Gibbs White, not only signing Eze instead, but also being prepared to take part, but also taking a big blow to local rival Arsenal by pinching the target.
Frank confirmed that his side was monitoring the market to replace Madison.

When asked if he would come in, Frank replied: “No one feels close or far. He hasn’t said anything before it’s completely 100%.”
And former club striker Jermine Defoe thinks Eze is the perfect signature.
“Eze is someone who’s a Tottenham player if this makes sense. He’s a guy who plays with freedom,” Defoe told Turksport.
“You see the great players that the club had over the years, how technically he is, how confident he is, he is another special footballer.
“If that could happen, of course, that’s only good for the team. Clearly, these injuries, especially when you’re suffering from long-term injuries, you’ll need to replace these players.”
