Manchester United are extremely keen to add a new striker to their team this summer when RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesco emerges as a candidate for the Red Devils.
The possibility that Manchester United would sign Benjamin Sesco gave the Red Devils a big boost to the left and a left. Reuben Amorim’s side is eager to add new strikers to their team this summer after a disastrous season in its final years.
Many forwards are already linked, including Viktor Gyoker. Sesko is now emerging as a backup option, with the Slovenians turning their eyes to RB Leipzig over the recent season.
Newcastle is also interested, and Sesco is considered a potential alternative to Alexander Isaac, linked to his travels to Liverpool. However, the Red Devils moved in front of the cue, in their own position on the movement.
According to Germany’s Sky, United’s chief has already been in touch with Sesco and has laid out the project. They also proposed numbers to his representatives prior to the possibility of starting a talk with Leipzig.
Luckily for United, Sesco responded well and was impressed by what the Red Devils had to say. However, Leipzig wants about £64 million from the star forward, so there’s still more to do about the deal.

Meanwhile, boss Amorim has already spoken about what he wants from his new signature. He states:
“There are players with a lot of potential, and you need to be aware of that, but you need to know every player that’s coming, you need to know who you are, you need to talk to the players, you need to explain the project.
“And one of the things that really matters is they want to come here. That’s the key point. If we can find someone in the market, help the team and have all the boxes with them, then we’re going to do that.

Having scored 39 goals for Leipzig in the last two seasons, Sesko has already revealed what will help him make a decision: play, a potential new club style of play. After he signed Leipzig, he said: “The thing is, I wasn’t really involved in this kind of conversation, but I think it would be better to come here.
“It was very important to me to go to a place where I played similar styles of soccer. I already knew what I had to do and didn’t have to go through the entire learning process again.”
He doubled that stance after writing a new contract with the German side last summer. He said: “Leipzig has given me a lot and I keep giving a lot every day. It’s the perfect club to grow. I want to play for the club that suits me in the future.
