British Lioness Euros Hero worked shifts at a coffee shop after winning the final

England held the European Championship after the Lioners victory over Spain last week, but the 2022 team star was quickly sent back to reality

Jill Scott may have sealed her English legacy when the Lioness concluded the 2022 European Championship, but she quickly returned to work. The former Lioness midfielder, who cut his boots shortly after the tournament, was part of a team that helped England win at home turf three years ago and overcome Germany in the final at Wembley.

This marked the pinnacle of Scott’s highly successful career, securing nine national trophies at the club level during which time. The former Everton and Manchester City midfielder were more widely recognized after an X-rated response occurred on camera in the Euro final.

Scott then became famous through his media work and was a critic last week as Britain defended the Euro title against Spain. However, she quickly returned to working in her coffee shop, so she allowed a little time to spend on the UK’s Euro 2022 victory.

Jill Scott’s Coffee Shop

Five days after participating in the Euro 2022 Final in front of a crowd of 87,192 fans, Scott is back to work. She is co-owner of the Boxx2boxx Coffee Shop in Manchester and runs alongside Shelley Unit, a sister to Scott’s former teammate Trachel.

In X’s post, Scott shows a photo of him holding a brush and a broom behind the counter and says, “Back to reality, I love it! I’m shifting at the coffee shop on boxx2boxx.

ITV reported that Scott brought her recipient medal with her and took a photo with her supporters during her shift.

Scott and the unit launched the store in 2021 and took the name from Scott’s position on the field. It is frequented by famous Northwest footballers, with Scott mentioning a visit to Roy Keene’s soccer podcast.

Jill Scott’s England career

Scott accumulated an extraordinary 161 England cap throughout her career, making her debut in August 2006 and retired after the Euro final. Scott is the second-highest capped player of all time in both the boys and women’s games behind Farrah Williams alone.

The 38-year-old played in eight major tournaments for the Lioness, and the winner of the 115-minute semi-final against the Netherlands in Euro 2009 is one of her most memorable moments. Despite retiring three years ago, Scott remains connected with the current England team, as explained by Lioness Captain Leah Williamson.

“We can’t drive her away! I had a conversation with this tournament and Jill. She’s a funny character and one of those who aren’t very serious,” Williamson said. “She has so many experiences of herself, but she also has this incredible perspective: she helps us.

“When she retired, we were begging the FA to hire her just to take her, so I’m happy she’s here. She’s one of the best teammates I’ve ever had.”
