Agents of Viktor Gyokeres slammed Sports Lisbon on how they handled the striker’s exit as Newman City chief Hugo Viana claimed he respected their agreement.
One of the representatives of Viktor Gyokeres aims to sport Lisbon to create a “disturbance” for the Swedes as they tried to achieve an exit from the Portuguese champions. The long saga ended with him joining Arsenal, but not before sufficient hostility.
The Sport was supported when it came to the Star Striker, one of Europe’s most prolific frontmen, but who wanted to retain his service. Gyoker made it clear that he wanted to leave and believed that the gentleman’s agreement was in place.
The Lisbon costume denies that such a thing existed, and the situation quickly became awkward. The club is dissatisfied with the proposal from Gyoker’s agent Hasan Cetinkaya, and has reached an agreement over a striker’s transfer fee before the window begins.
The sport was then fined Gyoker 350,000 euros (306,000 pounds). This was the entire salary in July as he refused to report for preseason training earlier this month.
However, Jonathan Chalkia, who works with Cetinkaya to manage Gyoker, claims that former sports chief Hugo Viana, who left to play the same role in Manchester City, honored him for letting go and avoiding a nasty exit.

He told Swedish network WTV: “It was a mess. There was an agreement between the previous sports director and gentlemen. If Hugo Viana were still playing sports, the deal would have been in an hour. Everything was written.
“We don’t realize that players who scored so many goals and won three trophies didn’t deserve any more respect. The sacrifice we made was a turning point for the contract to happen. They offered Gyoker to Real Madrid.
“Viktor always trusted the Hasan Cetinkaya (The Striker’s Agent) project. They agreed to move to the league with less exposure to win the title like the Portuguese and return to the Premier League. At the time, seven Premier League clubs were already interested.”
However, Gyokeres came out and insisted that no one would blame the Striker himself for having many options for him to consider, but that choosing Arsenal when they came to the party was “not a difficult decision.”
