Liverpool reportedly agreed to sell Darwin Nunes to Al Hilal. After Hugo Ekitike arrives, the forwards are leaning wide to leave Anfield this summer. Alexander Isaac is also believed to remain on Liverpool’s radar despite the Reds seeing a £110 million bid rejected by Newcastle last week.
Nunes, who scored in a friendly victory over Liverpool’s Athletic Bilbao on Monday, is gaining interest from clubs in Europe and Saudi Arabia. Previous bids from Al-Nassr were rejected in January as Liverpool aimed to keep their offensive options open. Naples also approached this summer, but the proposed term did not reach Liverpool’s rating.
It is now reported that Fabrizio Romano is close to Al Giral signing Nunes after he reaches a club-to-club agreement with Liverpool.
It is allegedly been happening between the two oral agreements, and negotiations on personal terms are still occurring. Al-Hilal’s manager Simone Inzagi is reportedly desperate to land Nunes, but the final decision will rest along with the players themselves.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Nunes preferred the idea of staying in Europe for his move to the Middle East. AC Milan is also recognized for his desire to land a striker who remains on his current Liverpool contract for three years.

Nunez has lost his favor since Arne Slot arrived at Reds Dugout. He was mostly limited to backup roles last season, and saw his work rate being criticized by the Dutch.
When he missed the open goal after Nunes came out of the bench against the Wolves and Aston Villa, Slot said: “I helped him by saying you could miss the chance.
“I wasn’t the only one, but for the second time in a row, I wasn’t satisfied with his work effort, the wolves and the villa. I can’t accept that the players aren’t giving it all. That’s clear.
“I can accept it once, but twice was a little too much. So I dealt with it. If you missed the chance, you have to fight for the team.”
Nunez managed only seven goals in all competitions last season despite playing 47 games for Liverpool. He was limited to just eight Premier Leagues, but Cody Gakupo usually nodded before him.
If he joins Al Hilal this summer, some additional funds could be released to increase his chances of signing Liverpool’s ISAK. According to Talksport, Reds is worth Nunez for around £610 million, and Al-Hilal agreed to meet their demands.
It remains to be seen whether Nunes will be involved in Liverpool when he faces Crystal Palace on Community Shield this weekend.
