Liverpool reportedly contacted a representative of Real Madrid winger Rodrigo following Alexander Isaac’s rejection bid.
Liverpool reportedly made contact with Real Madrid’s Rodrigo after their first attempt to sign Alexander Isaac.
Liverpool has soared Sweden’s interest in the forward direction for now after a £110 million bid for the Newcastle striker was turned down in favor of the £150 million price tag.
Despite Isak’s efforts to ensure a transition to Anfield, including rejecting a new contract in the Northeast and receiving training with former club Real Sociedad, he will rejoin the team after the Far East Tour.
Following Louis Diaz’s £65.5 million move to Bayern Munich, Liverpool is still trying to bolster their offense. Darwin Nunes and Harvey Elliott are also expected to leave Merseyside this summer in search of more playtime.
According to ESPN Brazil, Liverpool contacted Rodrigo’s representatives in light of recent events ahead of the official offer. The 24-year-old, linked to Arsenal, is believed to have agreed to personal terms with the current Premier League champion.

Rodrigo lost his favor to Real Madrid’s Xabi Alonso, who prioritizes Killian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr. He is valued at around £70 million, Express reports.
However, after Eddie Howe confirms Isaac’s bid, Liverpool realizes that Florian Wiltz, Hugo Ekitique, Milos Kerkez and Jeremy Fripon have the money to spend, with Liverpool still having the money to spend.
“I really don’t know what’s going to happen next,” Howe said on a tour of Asia. “From our perspective, we still support Alex in every respect. My wish is that he will be wearing a Newcastle shirt again.
“It’s difficult because you don’t know what’s going to happen. There may be all sorts of stories and hypothetical situations, but we’re dealing with reality.
“The reality is, we had our first bid from Liverpool yesterday. I think this was turned down. Let’s see what happens from this point on. We can’t try to predict that.”
However, Rodrigo may prove a good style match compared to Isaac, given that Liverpool has already diverged £79 million for striker Ekitique.
The Brazilian, despite operating on the right wing of Madrid, is able to block the void created by Diaz’s departure in his preferred position.
Rather than partnering with ISAK as previously proposed, Ekitike led the attack in the centre, with Wirtz and Mohamed Salah providing support on the devastating four frontlines.
