Tottenham star’s son, Heung-Min, has already confirmed his exit from the North London Club ahead of the new season.
Her son Hyun Min is scheduled to reunite with Hugo Lloris nearly five years after the pair had a fierce dressing room bust-up. The Korean forward announced that he would leave the Spurs this summer nearly a decade later.
He shared his decision at an emotional press conference held in Korea on Saturday. He refused to provide information about the next club, but his son is expected to confirm his move to MLS Side LAFC.
And once the move is official, he will reunite with a familiar face – former Spurs teammate Hugo Loris. The pair were teammates for over eight years before the French goalkeeper completed his transition to the US.
Among them, the pair made 901 appearances for the Spurs and were two close to winning together in the Premier League. And although the pair enjoyed many successes, they weren’t always looking at the eyes.
The pair had to be physically separated in 2020 after taking a verbal blow in half of their 1-0 victory over West Ham. Speaking at the time, former Spurs boss Jose Mourinho said: “It’s beautiful.

“It’s probably the result of our meeting. If you want to blame someone, it’s me. I was critical of my boys. They weren’t critical of themselves enough, so I asked others to ask them to demand more.
“It was a situation where Captain (Lloris), a great kid that everyone loves, felt he had to do more and make another effort for the team.
“There were some bad words, but I think it was very important for the team to grow, and for that to happen, you need to demand more of each other and be strong-person.

Asked at his press conference where he was going, the son refused the team’s name, suggesting that next summer’s World Cup would be considered. He said: “For now, I’m going to focus on tomorrow’s game.
“We won’t make many comments on the next team. Obviously we’d like to focus on tomorrow’s game and the future and the next team.
“The World Cup is definitely one of the key points I will consider when choosing my next team. It may be my last World Cup, so I need my new environment to give everything for my soccer career.
