Liverpool has unveiled a new kit for the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
Liverpool has finally unveiled their new adidas kit – Florian Wiltz is signing a new record claiming Lewis Diaz’s No. 7 shirt at Anfield.
Wirtz is one of seven new faces that arrive at Anfield during the current window. All of these new signatures are set to give a fresh look as they unveil the new kit for the 2025/26 campaign on Friday, and are the first in a massive 10-year kit contract with Adidas.
And as part of the release, Liverpool has checked a number of new teams. Wirtz, who arrived at Anfield earlier this summer for club record fees, insisted on the No. 7 shirt previously worn by Luis Diaz. The Colombians have vacated numbers with his big bucks move to Germany’s Bayern Munich.
Wirtz’s choice comes after he angrily denied that he insisted he wanted to take the No. 10 shirt from his new teammate, Alexis Mac Allister. He said, “I say I want 10 people. I respect the players. Don’t believe everything that’s written.”

Wirtz is not the only signature to find his new number. His former Leverkusen teammate Jeremy Fripont claims the same number 30 he wore in Germany. Meanwhile, French striker Hugo Ekitike is set to wear the 22 following a £79 million switch from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Former Bournemouth defender Milos Kerquez claims Liverpool’s No. 6, which has been vacant since the exit of Thiago Alcantara. There are also some tweaks in the Reds’ goalkeeping division.
Giorgi Mamardashvili, who was signed 12 months ago but spent last season on loans with former club Valencia last season, will win No. 25. Fellow goalkeepers Freddie Woodman and Armin Pexi will wear 28 and 41 respectively in their upcoming campaigns.

Away from the new signature, there have been some changes among the players already at the club. Young defender Connor Bradley switched from 84 to 12, but academy star Trey Nyoni claimed he had previously worn 98 shirts.
There will be a few more changes in Liverpool’s team numbers ahead of the new season. They are still chasing after Newcastle star Alexander Isaac. Alexander Isaac may have decided to surpass his number, but the new central defender is also on the men’s agenda for Arne Slot.
Liverpool will begin their title defense against Bournemouth in two weeks following the final season of clash vs. Athletic Bilbao and Community Shield showdown with FA Cup winner Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium.
