Star striker clearly wants to design a move to Liverpool, and Merseyside Club has shown in the past how big fan favorite transfer fees can kickstart a great era
Alexander Isaac is a very good player…but it’s not enough to feel the need for a proud club to bring that dignity. The starting point for Newcastle United’s decision makers should be simple. Isaac will never wear black and white again.
It is clear that he wants to leave and if the footballer doesn’t want to maintain a relationship with a fanbase that cannot outweigh his loyalty and commitment, if the club tries to persuade him to stay, it would be a shame for those supporters. However, the club is entitled to as much money as possible from Liverpool, who appears to be the only suitor in this story.

And if that means playing hardball with Isaac himself, then that’s the case. The way Newcastle United allowed him to train alone in Spain is a mystery.
As far as we know, the club still pays him about £120,000 a week, but what he can do for that money will come in the right workplace. Apparently, Isaac is back in Tyneside and is probably telling Newcastle that he wants to leave.
Newcastle can then begin hard negotiations. Their asking price is said to be a flat figure of £150 million, which is less fantastical in today’s market.
Though transfer fees can be compared and tied together by contrasting knots, established Premier League scorers who are not yet 26 years old must have very high tariffs. And ISAK is known as a probation after scoring 54 goals in 86 Premier League appearances.
Those numbers establish him, but they are not daunted, nor are they his 10 assists at the time. Just because he’s looking for your club, there’s no need to underestimate the importance of ISAK for the Newcastle United team that won the FA Cup last season and placed fifth in the Premier League.
That’s just stupid. But there is a number that every player has decent value for the sales club. As Liverpool himself knows very well.
At the time – January 2018 – Liverpool fans were not admiring the club’s decision to sell Philip Coutinho to Barcelona. But they have spent a lot of time praised it ever since.
The money was reinvested wisely – they signed Allison Becker for the start – and Liverpool won the Premier League in the 2019-20 season. The reason why sports directors and such things have been so plagued by modern games is that reinvestment of transfer contractions is more fundamental than ever to the club’s wealth.
For fans, it’s not good when players want flaws in their rival clubs, especially when you think your club and your support have a very special draw. But Isaac wants flaws and his talent is not as sensational as you ask him to stay.
