Manchester United CEO Omar Belada has revealed that the club is pulling out all stops to secure more signatures before the new season begins. United have Mashwas Kuña, Brian Mbeumo and Diego Leon in their ranks this summer, but Benjamin Sesco of RB Leipzig is on the hunt for a solid visual hunt.
Ahead of the US Tour match against Everton in Atlanta, Bellada explained that he is tirelessly working to strengthen his team with fresh talent, along with football’s Jason Wilcox director and manager Reuben Amorim.
“We have to multitask a lot,” admitted Bellada. “A team led by Jason, the recruiting team, is back, working round the clock to ensure an opportunity to strengthen the squad.
“Of course, it helps to add players. We saw the arrivals of Brian Mbeumo, Masteus Cunha and Diego Leon. They’re adapting very well.”
“We’ve seen Brian play for the first time, and Masteus has already shown his quality, indicating that Diego is just coming from Paraguay and is adapting very quickly.
“The mood was very good, culture, standards, values, we are trying to make sure we create a team spirit that will allow players to compete at the highest level.
“What we want to do is win the title as soon as possible.
“It’s a way to raise standards, be very disciplined and approach the application of those standards. We need to make sure that everyone is protecting them, that everyone believes in them, and that no one falls outside the boundaries.
Looking back at United’s three-game US tour, Berrada said:
“The team is very well trained, interacting with the fans, activating with our partners, everything is great. The Premier League has had a great tournament.”
