Liverpool approved pre-season preparations with an overwhelming victory over Anfield athletic club. After an emotional pre-match homage to Diogo Jota, Arne Slot’s side moved them forward with a great two-minute curling effort, which led them to the flight.
A while later, the 16-year-old turned the provider as Darwin Nunez crossed to pilot from close range. Ben Douaaa’s biased shot at the brink of halftime ended the contest effectively afterwards. Gorka Guruzeta attacked the late comfort for the visitors, but Slot would have been pleased with his part.

Liverpool Player Rating (4-3-3):
Freddie Woodman 6: Virtual audience before trading at halftime.
Curtis Jones 8: One of the best performers on his side. Guaranteed to the ball, he wasted ownership and regularly linked to his forward players.
Luca Stephenson 7: Apparently you’re discovering. He was comfortable with the ball and dealt with athletic attacks well, but his poor clearance led to Gurzeta’s goal, so he packed his copybook.
Andy Robertson 7: Unfamiliar centre-back role, but he was led by an example of defense. I had one excellent short-range block in the first half and then recovered from inadequate touches to create a svital slide clearance.
Kostas Tsimikas 7: was free to move forward, and in the first half he deflected widely with a 20-yard shot. He helped set up Elliot for his goal.
Alexis Mac Allister 6: It was a quiet night for the Argentinians, but I was working before being replaced early in the second half.
Trey Nyoni 8: Mature display. It helped me to control the problem in the middle and allowed me to have a big future on Merseyside.
Harvey Elliott 7: Liverpool shirt and his last game with decent games. It was bustling around and successfully took his target from close range.
Ben Doak 9: Statement Display. Attacked the right flank with a pace and approached with a stimulating shot from 35 years saved by Alex Padilla. Through a great bias, he got the right goal before the break.
Rio ngumoha 9: What a talent he is at 16 years old. He went on an incredible early strike and then became the creator of Nunes. It was a constant threat, and he waned slightly in the second half, but Arne Slot would have been careful.
Darwinnes 7: His final goal at Anfield? He was involved in a decent finish and building up Elliott’s strike.
submarine:
Armin Pecsi 7: He came in at intervals and made a proper save right away.
Wellity Lucky was given 6:34 minutes and had a hard time making a real impact.
Tommy Pilling 5:23 minute cameo was difficult to participate.
Trent Kone-Doherty 6: As the game was picked, he showed his willingness to replace Ngumoha and make himself available. But he should have done better as he couldn’t take the shot after he was cleaned up.
Lewis Koumas 6: Only 10 minutes after Nunez’s replacement, but he was quickly approaching his target as his low shot was saved by Padilla.
Jaden Dunns 6: We came in for Doak in the second half, but it didn’t have the same effect.
