Newcastle United have made the move to sign RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesco despite turning down a bid for Liverpool’s Alexander Isaac, but there’s no good news for the Reds yet
There is a shortage of bids for Newcastle RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesco. The magpie offering of add-ons of £65.5 million and more than £4 million was not enough for the Bundesliga to say goodbye to Manchester United, who is also interested in the Slovenian star.
Sesco was removed from RB Leipzig’s match-day team on Saturday due to friendship with Serie a Side Atalanta amid news of a bid from Newcastle. The advance fee provided by Toon is reported to meet the side’s ratings, but the overall package is not considered acceptable in terms of its total structure and structure.
The German team hopes Manchester United will soon offer to meet both the players and the club. Sesko has yet to determine his preferences and previously attracted interest from Arsenal.
The Leipzig striker has been on a contract until 2029, and his agent, Elvis Basanovic, has previously said that his client wanted a “special project with a special coach.” And the suspension of the lawsuit would have provided little motivation for Liverpool.
The Reds saw their own bid being rejected when they offered £110 million to Newcastle for Alexander Isaac. The Magpies have been barely encouraged to win a star at the Anfield Club, which is said to be valued at £150 million, but Liverpool’s hopes could be reassessed if Eddie Howe can find a new striker to work with.

Isaac missed the Asian preseason tour and spent time training at former club Real Sociedad, so he returned to Newcastle. However, uncertainty remains about Sweden’s international future, as Liverpool could return to the crease if magpies find a replacement.
Regarding Liverpool’s rejected offer, Newcastle bosshow said:
“People who have returned to England are dealing with the situation. We don’t know what will happen next. From our perspective, we still support Alex in all respects.
It is Manchester United’s old rival who could still ruin Liverpool’s plans. United made their first approach to Sesco last week. The Red Devils will step up their talk when they return from their three-game tour in the US.
The funds involved are likely to be important, with United aiming to offload multiple players before the summer transfer window closes, but there is a range of signing strikers without selling.
