Ian Holloway vowed to corner Swindon fans who are allegedly throwing part of their seats to Walsall goalkeeper in the opening match of the league two seasons. The Robbins fell to a 2-1 loss after Connor Barrett scored a 91st minute winner despite Sadler only had 10 on the field.

At the end of the game on Bescot Stadium, shot stopper Myles Roberts fell down due to a calf problem. And in response, objects were thrown from the crowd towards the fallen Keeper.

Goctcorer Barrett handed the object to the judges, and many incidents that both teams have now been investigated.

Swindon’s boss Holloway was incredible after the incident and appeared to suggest that it was part of the stadium seating thrown in the direction of Roberts. The former Blackpool and QPR bosses have called on people around the assailants to come forward as they aim to hunt down their attackers.

“I’m a person who loves this game, but I love other people too,” Holloway said. “I’m here to represent a great football club in a polite way to defeat. I’m persistent and I want to fight for things, but you don’t break your seat and throw it to someone.

“I don’t want everyone to think of us all, so everyone was standing next to them, so I want to put it in the drain because it’s not right.

“These people sneak into football and no one does anything about it. I’m going to stand up to the town of Swindon, an epic club. We don’t want to do anything with this.

“No matter who you are, you should be ashamed of yourself. I’m going to corner you and find you.”

Holloway added that he is tired of his supporters acting in such a way. Veteran managers want to see the person being banned if identified.

“Well done to them (wallasall) I thought their crowd was great. I was tired of our crowd throwing something on the pitch.

“Who do you think you are? You represent us, you represent me – how do you dare to do it? That’s absolutely unpleasant.

Swindon pointed out that they knew “the number of serious incidents” during the game. This includes “use of fireworks, abuses directed at objects being thrown, stewards, staff, players, game officials, and damage caused to property within the stadium.

“This behavior is not at all in our football club or in the wider games,” Robbins said. “Let’s be clear: Individuals found to be engaged in such behavior will face the strictest sanctions, including banning orders and legal action when necessary.”
