Arsenal confirmed that Viktor Gyoker has moved from Sports CP and that Swedish International cannot wait to work under Premier League Mikel Arteta
Viktor Gyoker simply felt that Arsenal was the right club to take the next step in his career and enjoyed the prospect of giving supporters something to cheer this season. The striker has completed the £63.7 million transfer and has signed a long-term contract with Emirates following his move from Sports CP.
Gyoker, 27, is the most talked about linking summer players to a range of clubs. However, the transfer was not easy as he fell in the Portuguese champion, who plays sports at a fee that he is allowed to leave.
Arsenal ended the quest for the scorer who ultimately reached an agreement for his signature and chose to move Gyoker through RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesco. And it appears that Gyoker didn’t need much persuasiveness to provide his signature to the gunners.
Sweden International, which scored 54 goals last season, spoke very hard about why he was committed to North London and cited the reasons why Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta influenced the club’s strength and the history of Arsenal and the strength of the fan base.
“I just felt it was the right club for me,” he said after signing. “When I was talking with Mikel and Andrea, and hearing what I’ve seen over the past few years, how they’ve been playing football. When I was playing Arsenal last season, I really felt it was a very strong team and it was very difficult to play against.

“It made me choose Arsenal and of course all the history and a huge fanbase the club has. It is amazing to see all the support they have already given me before I arrive, and that’s it.
Naturally, Arsenal’s new No. 14 heart is already to find the back of the net. After struggling with his previous spell in the Premier League with Brighton, Gyoker wants to get things right.
“I always want to score,” he said. “I can’t wait to be part of this club and score with this kit and to score in front of all the supporters, which makes me incredible.
“I started here (in the UK), and it feels like it was a long time ago. I think I’ve improved a lot since then. Now I want to actually prove myself and play with the team.
“It’s a great honor to play in your country, and it’s amazing to score goals for them. When I played in the sport, I scored a few goals in the Champions League so I feel I can be at that level too. Now I can come to the club at the Arsenal level.
