British striker Michel Aguierman welcomes the family atmosphere of Salina Wigman’s Euro 2025 team, recognizing that all players and staff are valued by each other. The 19-year-old’s comment has removed her from the graphics following the controversy over King Charles’ congratulations after the semi-finals.
The Aggieman was the youngest player on the English team, but also the most important player, providing clutch contributions from the bench. The Arsenal Starlet won the Young Player Award in the Tournament Award after the Lioness defeated Spain in a penalty in the final.
Her importance in the UK’s Euro defense was lacking in King Charles’ message after he did more eye-catching after his semi-final victory over Italy.
The Aggieman got off the bench and scored an equalizer in the 96th minute before Chloe Kelly scored the winning goal at the end of extra time.
However, in a congratulatory post about X through the Royal Family account, Aggieman was not one of the players’ images under King Charles’ message.
The exclusion sparked a backlash, considering her pivotal role in England’s successful tournaments in Switzerland. Wiegman described it as “unfortunate.”

However, when appearing on BBC Breakfast on Friday, Aggieman revealed that she and everyone in the English camp are grateful for their efforts.
She said:
“We all did it together, and it shows how together we were, in order to see it off in the end. I’m grateful that there’s a very good team around us.
And after the reality of England’s glory began, despite some tears of happiness, Aggieman admitted that she was not too emotional.
“When it comes to emotions, I’m not that expressive,” Breakthrough Star added.
“Sometimes, my expressions are the most you get out of me, and a lot of gratitude is the main feeling I feel, especially in times like victory.
“It was so surreal to see the change from the first game to the finals, so I cried a bit, and although it was difficult at times, we made it.
“As soon as Chloe (Kelly) got a penalty, I was in disbelief. Jess Carter was holding me. It was just mad.”
