Liverpool captain Vilgilvandick spoke about the club’s approach during the summer transfer period, during a link to Alexander Isaac after Hugo Ekitique’s arrival.
Virgil Van Dijk hints that Liverpool hasn’t yet been made in the summer transfer period. The Reds have signed £265 million with seven signatures so far after Hugo Ekitike arrived, but the bank still has the funds to add more players to Arne Slot’s team.
Ekitike is the latest player to join the defending Premier League champions, paying Eintracht Frankfurt £69m and another £10m with potential add-ons. He took Florian Wiltz, Jeremy Fripon, Milos Kerkez, Armin Pesci and Freddie Woodman to the club this summer, but Giorgi Mamardashvili also arrived on loan with Valencia last season.
Liverpool were able to recruit much this summer due to a quiet transfer window before last season. And with Darwin Nunes, Lewis Diaz and Harvey Elliot all likely to leave, they could afford the Newcastle deal Alexander Isaac blockbuster.
After the Reds investigated Isaac last week, before moving forward to signing Ekitique, the Swedish striker informed Newcastle that he wanted to explore his options. He was removed from the Magpie preseason tour amid reports that he could sell if the £125 million valuation was met.

And speaking of Liverpool’s preseason tour in Hong Kong after Ekitique arrived, Van Deek suggested that the club is not yet in the transfer window. Asked how the club could guarantee that they would lift the Premier League trophy again, he told Anfield Rapp:
“Let’s see what happens in the rest of the transfer window. But I think it all depends on the effort. It shows our quality and consistency. We all know how difficult it is, so we’re focusing on ourselves.
The Liverpool captain added: “When you come to Liverpool, they definitely have the quality to play for Liverpool. For me, the way you settle into the group and how you fit into the team we have is very important.
“They’re all. We won’t talk about Armin, the young goalkeeper who came out of nowhere. Clearly, Freddie, Giorge, Flo, Jeremy. Of course, everyone has to work hard today and we’re all together.
fellow professional Andy Robertson was also impressed by what he saw. He told the club’s website:
“But Jeremy, Milos, Geo and Flo all settled down very quickly. It’s a joy to see them here now. Then it’s up to them to understand the standards of playing with Liverpool.
