Howe remained Coy during the preseason tour in the Far East for new developments on Sesko, but claimed that Newcastle is trying to compete with the traditional “big 6” in this window in the Premier League.
“Sorry to sound like a broken record, I know what’s going on, but I’m not dealing with it,” Howe said of Sesco. “I woke up today and had two training sessions and came straight there.
“We try to do our best to the football club because I find out what’s going on after it happens — I’ll make it clear — but I can’t talk about the individual targets.
