Manchester City and British defender John Stones are among many players who can move to the former Premier League Champions in the summer transfer window.
Manchester City is ready to sanction the exits of several established stars this summer, like John Stones and Ilkai Gandogan, as Pep Guardiola continues to rebuild its performance squad.
The former Premier League champion has been active in both the summer and January transfer windows after falling behind Liverpool and Arsenal in last season’s title race. More exits are also expected.
Guardiola is understood to want to work with a small team, so there are likely some celebrities moving this summer.
Among them, the Athletic is stone, who was a pivotal player for Manchester City during the club’s success period.
However, the 31-year-old England defender is said to be able to transfer this summer as the city moves into a new era.

The 34-year-old Gandogan is another common name that could be culled despite the fact that he returned to Etihad last summer following a 12-month stint in Barcelona.
The veteran midfielder joins Mateo Kovasic and is “advertised” as a potential departure for the club to set up their team.
Nico O’Reilly, Claudio Echeverri and Oscar Bobb are three other players who said they are on the same boat as their teammates, but the same report adds that it’s unlikely that Bobb will leave Etihad this summer. It also notes that some people can leave the loan rather than forever.

If he leaves late in the 2024-25 campaign while playing as a makeshift left-back, the 20-year-old O’Reilly would be a surprise sale.
Of the names listed, Stone is the biggest starting point after playing for over 270 City since joining the club from Everton in 2016.
Despite his position as a key member of Guardiola’s Squad, the Stones suffered injuries in the previous term and were limited to just 11 Premier League appearances. Abdukodir Khusanov was signed from the Lens in January and added depth to the defensive forces that previously helped lead the city to four consecutive national titles.
