Tottenham is reportedly on the brink of signing Bayern Munich midfielder Joa Parchña, who previously linked to Manchester United. North Londoners enjoyed their busy summer windows, bringing in more than five new players. They spent a lot to land Mohammed Kudus from West Ham after completing the permanent moves of former Royne Kevin Danso and Mattis Tell.
Their new manager, Thomas Frank, also invested in young people and signed teenage defender Luka Voskovic and Japanese youth Kotatakai. Another exciting deal now appears to be on the horizon. The former Fulham midfielder joined Bayern Munich last summer, but was hit by injuries and struggled to get back on his path.
According to Sky Germany, negotiations regarding the loan move to Tottenham are “very progressed” and “nearly complete.” It is argued that some small details need to be resolved before the move is complete and dusted is considered.
Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano is claimed that Tottenham has the option to buy Pargigna at the end of his loan spell. They also reportedly agreed to cover midfielder salaries throughout this season.
Pargigna was linked to United before joining Bayern Munich about a year ago. The Red Devils were said to have registered interest in Fulham only when they were informed that Parghina did not want to play for them.
According to Sky Sports, he was interested in moving to Germany and got his wish before the start of last season. However, he only made 17 league appearances for the Bundesliga Giants, and barely played towards the end of the campaign.
Tottenham hopes that Parchinia will rediscover the form he showed at Fulham and drive the table in the Premier League next season.
Former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood looks forward to the arrival of Parshinya, who has previously praised Portugal International.
Speaking about Talksport in early 2024, when players were still in Fulham, Sherwood said: “I like him. This guy kicks his family (to get results).
“He’s like two bodies in the middle of the pitch. He’s predicting where the ball will go.
Given that he is lending from Bayern Munich, Parchña almost certainly won’t be able to face them when Tottenham plays the German Giants next week’s friendly. He could make his debut against PSG in the Super Cup six days later.
