Arsenal sweated and sweated Bukayo Saka’s condition after the winger was kicked out with an injury during his preseason defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday. The 23-year-old appears to have his thighs, aggravated due to wear after a harmless challenge from Spurs forward Mattistel.

Saka was treated shortly thereafter during a cooling break, but Mikel Arteta carried him out as part of numerous alternatives. Arsenal’s injury concerns got worse less than 10 minutes after Leandro Trossard, who was among the seven players, had to make a path with problems.

The gunners caused a 1-0 defeat to their rivals at Kaitach Stadium, the first North London Derby held outside the UK.

Spurs boss Thomas Frank won the scalp in his Derby debut courtesy of Pipe Matal Saal’s bold lob from halfway through Arsenal.

David Raya was far out of his goal as he made a short pass to Miles Lewis Skelly, but the 18-year-old lost his possessions when he moved to the field.

Sarr produced tackles, advanced with the ball, took one look up and made a pinpoint effort on backtracking Raya, more than 40 yards away.

Arsenal wasn’t a race beyond the 10-minute opening, but it piqued fans when new striker Viktor Gyoker handed him his debut in the final 15 minutes.

Arteta’s side prepared to start the Premier League title challenge, defeating AC Milan 1-0 and Newcastle United 3-2 early in the preseason.

Arsenal will close their schedule with a meeting with Villarreal before they face the Athletic Club in the Emirates Cup.

The Gunners will begin their Premier League season with a blockbuster trip to Manchester United as part of a tough opening set of equipment.

Their visit to Old Trafford is followed by matches against Leeds United, Liverpool, Nottingham Forest, Manchester City and Newcastle United.

Full-time in Hong Kong, Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice thanked his fans and cut off a positive guy ahead of his next outing.

He said: “It was really special to be coming to Hong Kong. I would like to thank you for your support.

“It was an incredible trip, we really felt love, and it pushed us forward. We lost tonight, but we have another game on Wednesday. It’s still preseason and we’re going to push big things this season.”
