William Saliba warned the Premier League defense that Arsenal’s new £63 million man Victor Gyoker was scared.
The Swedish striker finally joined his new teammate in Singapore on Sunday night after completing a big money move from Sports Lisbon. He was announced to fans before Arsenal defeated Newcastle United 3-2 in the final match of the Singapore Leg of Singapore’s preseason tour.
One of the world’s most acclaimed defenders, Saliba knows exactly what Arsenal is getting.
He admitted he faced European gyoker last season and was relieved that the forward is on his side now.
Saliba said:

“Of course I’m very happy that he took him to my club. I’m sure he’ll help us win the game and win the trophy.”
He continued: “Why are you scared? Because when you face a goal-scoring striker, you have to focus! But now he is on our team and he scores for us.
Arsenal now heads to Hong Kong to face rival Tottenham after beating AC Milan and Newcastle on Thursday.

Saliba added: “There are a lot of positive things. I played two games. I won two games. There are a lot of improvements, but of course I have to continue doing that.
“There are three games left before the Premier League, so you have to keep on winning.”
