Pep Guardiola enjoys a stunning spell with Manchester City, but it appears that former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coaches are considering the next phase of his career
Pep Guardiola admits he will leave management when his Manchester City spell finally ends. The Spaniard has been enjoying some stunning spells in Etihad since their arrival in 2016.
He led City to six Premier League titles, two FA Cups and four League Cups, as well as lifting the club’s debut Champions League Crown. Guardiola, 54, has remained until 2027 when he wrote a new contract in November last year.
However, the next phase of his career is already firmly in his thinking, apparently allowing him to go on another administrative break when he leaves the northwest. Asked what the future will bring for him, he replied: “I don’t know.
“The truth is, I don’t know, but I… I… I don’t know. I don’t know because you can have a big workgroup that will help you with certain things.
“I don’t know when I’m a year, two, three, five, ten, fifteen, 15, but I’m going to stop after this stage in the city.

“In Catalan, they say Badar. Badar, Badar, Badar… I want to do this. I want to see the cows pass as the train passes.
Well, that’s all, you have to stop and watch it. And life… I never thought I would go to coach, go to Germany, go to England, become a coach for Barcelona, or play for Barcelona.
“I think we’re in control, but no, I’m tied up with something happening that puts something in front of me. Ah, do I want to do this?
