Manchester United finally completed a sensational move from Brentford earlier this month.
Manchester United are heading for Gazamp Brentford in the Mets Wonderkid Idrissa Gay race after being furious with the bees. The Red Devils have already spent a lot of money this summer to bolster their frontlines.
The £63 million signature of former wolf star Matheus Cunha followed the £71 million acquisition of Bryan Mbeumo, which eventually completed the switch to Old Thelford after weeks of long negotiations.
And United ended up getting their man, but they were not particularly pleased with the behavior of Brentford’s colleagues. The Red Devils Chiefs were furious at Brentford’s attempts to sell Mbeumo elsewhere along with Newcastle, Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal.
United accused Brentford of positively trying to persuade him to lower his wage demands, but they also thought the bees would increase their demands as the deal approached.
And given the current hostility between the two clubs, United are threatening to make things worse by seeking Brentford’s target. According to the Sun, both sides head to Idrissa Gae, a young Mets man.

The teenager emerged as a key target for Keith Andrews this summer. He may be forced to match the £15 million French side’s asking price to compete with United and Burnley’s competition. It has been suggested that the London side will be willing to offer youth instant Premier League football, but United are looking at him for the future.
The 18-year-old Gueye is a product of Metz Academy, scoring five goals in his 17 Ligue 2 appearance last season. And he now hopes to follow in Mbemo’s footsteps, where he’s only interested in signing the Red Devils, but faces decisions about his future.
“As soon as I had the opportunity to join Manchester United, I had to get the opportunity to sign the club of my dreams.

“My mentality is to always be better than yesterday. I know there’s a mindset and personality that will reach another level here. I learn from Reuben Amorim and play with world-class players.
“Everyone has spoken to me about the environment being created here and how exciting the plans for the future are. It’s a massive club with an incredible stadium and great fans, and we’re all really determined to challenge the biggest trophy.”
