During two years in Lisbon, Gyoker helped the team win consecutive Primeira Liga titles and win the National Cup.
Gyokeres is British football experience previously played for both Coventry City and Brighton & Hove Albion, as well as Lawn Spell with Swansea City.
While at Coventry, he was the key player who helped the Sky Blues reach the 2023 Championship Playoff Finals.
Gyoker said when he joined the gunners, “I can’t wait because I want to score, be a part of this club, score with this kit and score in front of all the supporters with this badge. It makes me feel amazing.
“I started here (in the UK), and it feels like it was a long time ago. I think I’ve improved a lot since then. Now I want to actually prove myself and play with the team.
“It’s a great honor to play for your country, and scoring goals for them is amazing.
“When I played in the sport, I scored a few goals in the Champions League, so I feel I can be at that level too.
“I think coming here and now at the Arsenal level club will help us perform even better with all the great players on this team. I’m really excited.”
