Penalty irritates Cristiano Ronaldo’s first title in Saudi Arabia

Cristiano Ronaldo will have to wait to win his first title in Saudi Arabia. His Al-Nassr team was defeated by Al-Hilal with a dramatic penalty shootout (3-5) after the regulation time ended in a 2-2 draw. The Portuguese missed the great opportunity to increase his already stunning record, and his face reflected the biggest disappointment when Galeno scored a decisive penalty.

Cristiano did everything he could to lead his team to the title. He completed the 90 minutes and scored from a penalty spot to make it 1-0, and in a shootout he converted him. But that wasn’t enough. Eduard Mendy saved Kaibari’s penalty, but Bent couldn’t stop anything.

Al-Ahli has won the Super Cup, a team that happened to arrive after Al-Hilal resigned, saying he didn’t have enough time to prepare after playing in the Club World Cup.

Al-Ahli was constantly being tracked, but their faith allowed them to force them to first punish and then take away the title.

The pitch was not at the best possible condition, preventing the touch play that Al Nasr wanted to practice. The Tikitaka players are abundant in Jorge Jesus, but he has lost a key player in Sadio Mane who was stopped due to the red card he received in the semi-finals.

The arrival of Al-Nassr continued with each other. Wesley and Coman were closer to opening up the score, but were unable to beat the confident Eduard Mendy. Cristiano Ronaldo also tried his luck with overhead kicks and Joan Felix, and didn’t surprise the former Chelsea goalkeeper with a shot from the baseline.

Cristiano Ronaldo has preceded the Al-Nassr by converting a handball penalty by Ali Majrashi, which was hotly contested from Ali-Ahli players. The judge confronted his decision, and Cristiano made no mistake. That was his 100th goal.

There were even more expectations for Joao Felix. He was not noticed except for a few touches. In the second half, he improved his performance, but he still lacks the ability to become a game-changer.

Although Al-Ahli had more difficulty reaching conflicting goals, the danger was clear when they did. Especially when the ball reaches the feet of the muffles.

The first half seemed to end with the advantage of Al-Nassr, but the play between Millot and Kessie was finished by a former Barcelona player, scoring a great goal to equalize the game.

In the second half, Al Ali came out better and managed to lock Al Nasr in their area for a few minutes, but they were unable to finish this dominance with a goal that gave them a lead on the scoreboard.

Al Nassl scored 10 minutes into the end of the match with a beautiful goal from Brozovic, but Al Giral was equalised once more just five minutes later when Roger Ibanez took advantage of the bad start of the Bent to lead a corner kick that Marhes took to the net.

In the penalty shootout, Alali won all five through Ivantony, Frank Kessie, Riad Marez, Faras Alviracan and the final five who sealed victory from Galeno. For Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo Brozovic and Joao Felix scored. Goalkeeper Mendi saved Abdullah Al-Qaibari’s penalty, fourth, and there was no need for a fifth.
