Robert Lewandowski’s future is shrouded in uncertainty, with his contract at Barcelona running until June 2026, but the Polish star is still considering a renewal offer from the Catalan club.
However, other teams have also expressed an interest in signing Luiz, with the idea of seeing the striker playing in Serie A gaining traction. One of them is Juventus of Turin.
Juventus interested in Luiz
As if the 37-year-old striker’s current time at Rose wasn’t uncertain enough, the renewal offer the Catalan club have put forward for him doesn’t entirely sit well with Lewandowski. A pay cut and a diminished role within the team have raised questions and influenced his decisions.
In this situation, Juve entered the club with their sights set on signing the former Bayern Munich player. According to Sports Illustrated, manager Luciano Spalletti’s side are offering an annual contract worth €6 million, a package of bonuses and the sporting guarantees both he and the team need to strengthen their attack and fight for the top of Serie A once again.
The offer could be well-received by the Polish player, whose priority is to continue to compete at the elite level of European football and maintain high and consistent standards in international competitions. Meanwhile, Juventus see the striker as a market opportunity as his experience, scoring ability and contractual situation could facilitate negotiations.
The player’s agent, Pini Zahavi, is expected to meet with Juventus in the coming weeks to carefully consider the offer. But they’re not alone.
AC Milan are also reportedly interested in the Polish striker, MLS side Chicago Fire are also trying to lure him with a big-money contract, and offers from Saudi Arabia are virtually unrivaled in terms of salary.
Meanwhile, negotiations with Bala are reportedly at an impasse, with Blaugrana leaders considering the offer to be final and non-negotiable.
Despite doubts about his future, the striker’s statistics remain solid. In the 2025/26 season, he played 25 games in La Liga and scored 12 goals. Therefore, the combination of financial stability and a leading role in a competitive league like Serie A makes Juventus’ offer stand out as a priority. For now, Lewandowski’s future remains up in the air.
