TGuardia di Finanza has dismantled a network accused of managing nightlife-related events that allegedly used “laughing gas” as a recreational substance, exploited prostitution and provided services to high-level football players, including Serie A players, officials confirmed to EFE on Tuesday.
According to La Gazzetta, around 50 Serie A players, including players from AC Milan and Inter, have signed up as customers. There is also talk of a pregnant woman being investigated due to her relationship with one of the users of the prostitution network.
The operation was investigated by a Milan court at the request of the public prosecutor’s office, and four people were placed under house arrest on charges of promoting prostitution by organizing an escort service and money laundering from this activity.
It also included the possibility that wealthy clients, athletes and professional football players could access sexual services.
Guardia di Finanza’s economic and financial police department told the agency that the organization managed events that “included the possibility of access to sexual services by wealthy clients (we are talking primarily about athletes and professional football players)”.

“And nitrous oxide is used as a stimulant and recreational substance,” the officials added, referring to so-called “laughing gas,” a compound with anesthetic and analgesic properties that is also used as a recreational drug.
No customers are under investigation, and although their names have not been made public, the identified users include several first-team players and a businessman, and the incident has sparked controversy within Italian football, particularly with local clubs AC Milan and Inter.
When asked if the Guardia di Finanza newspaper might eventually investigate the clients, the agency stressed: “Unfortunately, this is not a crime and is not classified as such. There is no violence, as the girls were completely obedient. There are no signs of violence in the investigation.”
F1 driver being eavesdropped
Wiretaps published by La Gazzetta revealed that F1 drivers were also using the network’s services. “I have a friend who is an F1 driver, and he wants a girlfriend who can pay him. Can he find one?” asked one of the people, to which he was told, “We’ll send a Brazilian.”

The operation included the search of several properties and the seizure of more than 1.2 million euros, which authorities considered to be illegal proceeds from the activities being investigated.
According to the investigation, the organization offered “all-inclusive” packages for thousands of euros, including dinner at Milan’s exclusive nightlife venues, accommodation in luxury hotels, and a female companion.
Investigators allege that the network operated under the guise of an event agency based in the Milan metropolitan area, hosting parties in nightclubs and other establishments for years, while also managing the recruitment of women, including professional escorts.
According to the investigation, the young women were housed at properties affiliated with the agency and were then paid for services provided to clients.
