WWith Lionel Messi concentrating on the Argentina national team and Inter Miami preparing to inaugurate its new soccer stadium, special details for the star player were recently revealed.
But before the big day arrives in what will be a true Miami soccer event, aerial photos of the venue have been released, showing it is almost ready to open.
A bird’s-eye view of Messi’s new home
Fox Sports’ Andy Slater of South Florida shared a video showcasing the new stadium from an aerial perspective, highlighting the impressive state-of-the-art venue that now features a sold-out crowd and the presence of GOAT Lionel Messi on the pitch.
One of the distinguishing features is the dedicated stand, named the “Leo Messi Stand”, which is located between the lower sections 117-121 and the upper sections 217-223.
The opening of the new stadium is scheduled for April 4th, when Inter Miami, with Messi back in the game, will play against Austin FC. The venue has a capacity of 26,700 people and is part of Miami’s larger stadium project, which began construction three years ago near Miami International Airport.
