IAmid the controversy surrounding Neymar’s exclusion from Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil national team, Brazil’s national team is putting club rivalries aside as they prepare to play their next international friendly during the FIFA International with their two star attackers.
The rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona is over
At least that’s what Rafinha and Vinicius Jr. seem to suggest. The two players are expected to form one of the most dangerous attacking duos heading into the 2026 FIFA World Cup as Brazil seek to win their sixth World Cup.
The FC Barcelona winger shared a photo of himself side by side with the Real Madrid star with the caption “Home”, making it clear that the rivalry at El Clicico is not important as he represents Brazil and that they are united by a common goal.
Brazil will play two international friendlies during the FIFA holidays, the first against France on March 26th and the second against Croatia on March 31st.
These matches will serve as preparation for the World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada, as controversy continues over Neymar’s absence. The Brazilian superstar was left out of the squad despite his strong form with Santos.
