KIlian Mbappé has already overtaken Harry Kane at the top of this season’s Golden Boot ranking. The Frenchman scored twice at the Estadio de la Ceramica last Saturday, taking his tally to 21 goals, the same tally for Bayern Munich and England.
Mbappe’s performance against Villarreal saw him overtake Erling Haaland in the rankings, as the Norwegian did not feature in City’s win over Wolves. Meanwhile, Kane also failed to score in Bayern’s surprise defeat to Augsburg.
