TTime is running out until the start of the 2026 Major League Soccer season, and the atmosphere at Inter Miami is one of absolute frenzy. The club has another reason to be excited after winning the MLS Cup. That means leaving Chase Stadium and heading to their new home, Miami Freedom Park.
This Friday, franchise co-owner David Beckham visited the site and shared images of the progress of the work, revealing that the project is already a concrete reality.
Beckham toured the stadium and showed progress
Beckham released the message on his social networks, which immediately resonated with fans of the club and MLS. “Miami Freedom Park… it’s almost here. Just a quick trip to check out the progress on our new home and I can’t believe how amazing it is. Got to be the first to kick a ball here,” the former England international wrote on his Instagram account, alongside an image of the stadium under construction.
Beckham’s visit confirmed that the project is progressing as planned and that Inter Miami is on track to open one of the most modern soccer infrastructures in the United States.
A modern stadium in the heart of Miami
Miami Freedom Park is slated to become one of the league’s great architectural gems. The stadium will have a capacity for 25,000 spectators, will have a roof and will feature state-of-the-art technology, with the aim of positioning the club as one of the most attractive clubs on and off the field.
Strategically located in the heart of Miami, just minutes from the airport, the venue is surrounded by multiple public transportation access points and features 5,000 parking spaces, ensuring easy access for fans on game days and special events.
“The remaining development will include offices, hotels, parks, shops, restaurants and attractions. We hope this will become a hub for the city and a place people can come to celebrate Miami’s culture,” Alvarez said.
The project covers a total of 131 acres, of which 58 acres are allocated to public parkland, representing more than 234,000 square meters of green space. It will also include youth sports fields, recreational spaces and areas prepared for concerts and large-scale events.
