Former Chelsea player Lamisha Musonda, who retired in 2020, shocked the football world when he spoke harshly on social media, saying he was suffering from a serious illness.
Although the exact details of the illness have not been revealed, the former soccer player’s story is horrifying. There appears to be no cure for the disease, which Ms Musonda admits is still a battle she is battling, but that she “only has a few days left to live.”

Musonda wrote on her Instagram account: “I realized that I only had a short time left to live, that so many people were by my side, and I will always cherish those memories. Life is tough, but it’s a wonderful thing. Life is full of ups and downs, and no one can truly understand the pain that others feel. The last two years have been particularly difficult and challenging for me. It is with great sadness that I announce that I am struggling to regain my health.”
The former footballer, who played for Llagostera and Palamos in Spain, also played for Anderlecht before retiring in 2020, from where he joined Chelsea. His younger brother Charlie also played for Chelsea and had spells in La Liga for Real Betis and Levante.
Musonda said in a statement: “This is why I have been away from social media. I have to face reality. My health is in crisis and I am fighting to survive right now. Your help and prayers will be of great help at this time. Me and my family are struggling. But I won’t give up until my last breath. I was lucky enough to have a beautiful childhood and still have so much to offer. But there are so many wonderful people that I would have loved to thank in person, and I’m saddened by the fact that I may not have that opportunity.” Deeply into me. ”
