ISTANBUL (AP) — Former England forward Mason Greenwood has signed with Fenerbahce, making him his third club in three years. Banished from Manchester United squad.
Fenerbahce said in a statement: They are expected to pay Marseille 39 million euros (about $44.5 million) late Tuesday and give the 24-year-old Greenwood a four-year contract.

Greenwood was frozen out at Manchester United, where he was a top prospect, and after spending a season in Spain on loan at Getafe, he spent two years at Marseille.
Manchester United have suspended Greenwood for 2022 for his role in assaulting a young woman after images and videos were posted online. He was charged with attempted rape, controlling and coercive conduct. the case fell.
Greenwood regained his form in his first season at Marseille, finishing runners-up in Ligue 1. His 21 league goals in the 2024-25 season were the highest ever, equaling Ousmane Dembele of champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Greenwood played one game for England in 2020, but then manager Gareth Southgate and current manager Thomas Tuchel later said he had not been considered for selection.
He should be eligible to play for Jamaica under FIFA regulations, but the soccer body has yet to process Greenwood’s request for a change.
