Unless New Zealand beat Belgium, the All Whites will be denied a chance to advance to the group stage.
“It’s black and white for us right now, which is a really good thing,” Bazley said.

Belgium did not miss a World Cup appearance during New Zealand’s 16-year absence, finishing third overall in 2018.
“The goal was to break out of the group,” Bazley said. “That’s still the goal. We still believe it’s possible and we believe we created this opportunity.”
