Posh ready for Austria

Austrian defender Stefan Posch will be available to play against Argentina after breaking his jaw domestically World Cup opening match.

Coach Ralph Rangnick said Sunday that Posh, who trained fully the day before the game, had to travel to Los Angeles twice to be fitted with protective equipment so he could play despite the injury.

“He’s ready to play tomorrow like any other player,” Rangnick said through an interpreter. “Then we’ll see if he starts tomorrow or if he’s put in during the game.”
