MANCHESTER, England (AP) — England international Beth Mead joins Women’s Super League champions Manchester City He signed a three-year contract on Friday after nearly a decade at Arsenal.
The versatile forward, whose contract with Arsenal has expired, holds the record for the most assists in WSL history.
Meade, 31, joins the City team that completed the double last season by winning both the WSL and WSL titles. Women’s FA Cup Final Under the guidance of Swedish coach Andre Jeglarz.
“City’s way of playing suits me very well and I feel I can bring something special out of my game,” Mead said in the club’s announcement.

For the national team, Meade played in 81 games and scored 40 goals. She contributed to England’s successive championships. Women’s European Championship (2022 and 2025).
