Brett Goldstein, star of the series Ted Lasso, admitted in an interview with TalkSPORT that he tried to make Jennifer Lopez a supporter of Tottenham Hotspur, a team he openly supports. The actor worked with the Latina actress and singer on a new project, Office Romance, and used the opportunity to try to recruit her to the Spurs’ cause.
“She has no choice,” he said. Goldstein is having a tough season with Tottenham close to relegation. “It was terrible. It’s a kind of self-harm, especially being a fan of our team. It’s tough. But avoiding relegation felt like winning the World Cup,” he said.
Goldstein also talked about Harry Kane, with whom he has a good relationship. “I admire his talent and most of all his big heart off the field,” he said. “I love Harry Kane. He’s not only one of our best footballers, but he also seems like one of the purest hearts I’ve ever seen. He’s a pure soul. There’s nothing I like more than a footballer with a pure heart. He seems like a really good guy and an extraordinary player. I’m very happy to have him in the film.”
Jennifer Lopez also talked about Caine’s cameo in Office Romance in an interview. “It was a great scene. At the first script reading with the whole cast, the team didn’t know what was going to happen, but we all had a good laugh. We thought, ‘Oh my God, this is really funny,’ and we had a lot of fun filming it,” she recalled.
