Barbra Banda scored two goals and added one assist in the Orlando Pride’s 3-1 home win over Bay FC on Friday night.
In the National Women’s Soccer League’s only other game of the night, Denver Summit defeated Racing Louisville 1-0.
Banda led the league with nine goals for the Pride (5-5-2), but was injured while chasing the ball late in the game. The nature of the injury was not clear.
After a lightning-fast one-hour delay, Banda scored Orlando’s fastest goal of the season just three minutes into the game.
About three minutes later, Caroline Conti scored Bay’s goal with a low shot into the far corner. It was her first game of the season.
Banda put Orlando ahead with his second goal in the 50th minute, then fed Cori Dike into the goal from the top of the box four minutes later.
Bay (3-6-2) has lost its third straight game. Goaltender Jordan Silkowitz and defender Aldana Cometti received red cards in Sunday’s game and received one-game suspensions. 1-0 They lost to the Chicago Stars.

Expansion Summit’s first signee, Allie Brazier, scored her first goal of the season in the 64th minute to break the road stalemate with Racing.
Brazier, a Colorado native, scored a sliding goal off an assist from Yuzuki Yamamoto. Denver (4-4-3) has won three of its last four games.
Last place Racing’s eight losses were all by one point.
Goalie Madi Prohaska made her first start for Louisville (2-8-1). She made her NWSL debut last week against North Carolina Courage when she was assigned to replace injured starter Jordyn Bloomer in the first half.
