Transportation options
of metro rail During the World Cup, the Red Line will be the primary mode of transportation to NRG Stadium (later known as Houston Stadium). We offer direct service from downtown to Stadium Park/Astrodome Station for $1.25. Trains will run every 6 to 12 minutes from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m., with increased capacity during the event.
stadium tips
The stadium has a retractable roof and will almost certainly be closed during all matches due to high temperatures. If the roof is closed, the venue may get cold, so if you are sensitive to cold, please bring a thin jacket or cardigan. ___
