MONTREAL (AP) — Daniel Rios scored, Dagur Thorharsson had a stoppage-time goal, Thomas Gillier made four saves and CF Montreal defeated Orlando City 2-0 on Saturday.
Gilier earned his third shutout victory of the season.
Luca Petrasso converted a penalty and Orlando City’s Robin Jansson conceded, before Rios converted a penalty in the fourth minute of stoppage time to take the lead.
Torharsson scored his first goal for Montreal (4-7-0), making it 2-0 in the eighth minute of stoppage time. The club acquired Thorharsson from Orlando City on December 10 in exchange for up to $625,000 in general allocation funds.
Maxime Crepeau made two saves against Orlando (3-8-1).
Montreal had 54 percent possession, outscored Orlando 23-9, and had an 11-3 corner kick advantage.
Orlando beats Montreal 2-1 March 14th at home.
