Governing body UEFA said the decision to move kick-off earlier was to improve fans’ match-day experience and optimize logistics such as public transport.

About the finalists
This is the first time Arsenal have reached the final since 2006. This is their second time reaching the final, but they have never won Europe’s top club competition since losing to Barcelona in 2006.
Mikel Arteta’s side lost to eventual champions PSG in last year’s semi-finals.
PSG lifted the trophy for the first time last year and are aiming to become the second team to win the Champions League back-to-back.
Since the tournament was renamed the Champions League in the 1992-93 season, only Real Madrid have held the title, winning their third consecutive title in 2016-18.
Bayern have won the Champions League or European Cup six times, most recently in 2020. Winning this year would equal AC Milan’s total of seven titles and make the German giants the second most successful team in the competition’s history, behind Madrid, who have won 15 times.

The 67,000-seater stadium opened in 2019 and was built on the same site as the former Ferenc Puskas Stadion. It is named after the Hungarian and Real Madrid icon who won the European Cup three times as a player.
