BURNLEY, England (AP) — Scott Parker has resigned from his job as Burnley coach. premier league The club announced on Thursday.

Parker said: “It has been a great honor to lead this great club over the past two years. I have enjoyed every moment we have shared together, but I feel now is the right time for both parties to move in different directions.”
Burnley have begun the search for a new coach, with assistant Mike Jackson set to serve on an interim basis for the remaining four league games.
