PARIS (AP) — Paris Saint-Germain will be without Vicinha until at least this weekend after the Portuguese midfielder limped off with a right heel injury during the game. Lost 2-1 to Lyon French league on the weekend.
PSG announced that Vicinha will be absent due to inflammation in his right heel from a bruise he sustained during the match.
“Vicinha will undergo treatment over the next few days. Further evaluation will take place over the weekend,” PSG said in a statement.
Despite the loss, PSG remained at the top of the table with a one point lead over Reims at the end of the game. However, PSG will also have to travel to Reims in May after the league season ends. The game on April 11th has been postponed. Because PSG participates in the Champions League.
