TURIN, Italy (AP) – Juventus forward Arkadiusz Milik’s season is likely to end after another injury setback.
Milik only returned in March after being out for about two years following knee surgery in June 2024.
The Poland international has suffered a number of injuries since then, missing all of last season and playing just 34 minutes in the two games since his return.
Juventus announced on Wednesday that Milik had injured a muscle during training the previous day.
“Examinations revealed moderate strain in the biceps femoris muscle of his right thigh,” the team said in a statement. “Further tests will be conducted in approximately 10 days to determine the exact recovery time.”
Italian media have reported that Milik will be sidelined for at least four to five weeks, ending the 32-year-old’s season.
Milik joined Juventus in 2022, but has only made 77 appearances in all competitions, scoring 17 goals.
