NOTTINGHAM, England (AP) — Nottingham Forest have sacked Sean Dyche, with the Premier League team searching for a fourth head coach this season.
Daish He was relieved of his duties after just 114 days in the job late on Wednesday following a goalless draw with bottom-of-the-table Wolves. Forest failed to convert many chances against Wolves and are now three points out of the relegation zone.
“Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as head coach,” the club said in a statement earlier Thursday. “I would like to thank Sean and his staff for their efforts during their time at the club and wish them all the best for the future.
“We have no further comment at this time.”
Forest finished seventh in the Premier League. Nuno Espirito Santo Last season, they did not perform well at the end of the season and failed to qualify for the Champions League. Nuno signed a new three-year contract at the City Ground in June 2025, but was sacked in September following a breakdown in his relationship with owner Evangelos Marinakis.
Former Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou was quickly brought in to replace the Portuguese, but Marinakis ended his tenure within minutes of the 3-0 defeat to Chelsea, lasting just 40 days.
Wednesday’s draw means Forest have won just two of their last 10 Premier League games, but also means Forest are out of the league. The FA Cup goes to Championship side Wrexham.
