TThe Premier League sends a message across Europe. The Premier League has become the most dominant league, and a team’s position in the Champions League says it all. Five teams finished in the top eight in this tournament, with a total of six teams remaining.
Six English teams have started this adventure this season, and all six can still chase the title.
Arsenal proved to be strong candidates
“The Gunners” stood out among the group, achieving a perfect league stage by winning all eight matches, becoming the first team to achieve this feat in the new format of the competition.
Meanwhile, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur finished in 3rd and 4th place respectively, despite not currently being in the best form in the Premier League.
Chelsea and Manchester City also performed well, defeating Napoli and Galatasaray to finish in 6th and 8th place. Meanwhile, Newcastle finished in 12th place after drawing 1-1 with Paris Saint-Germain.

England’s dominance is not limited to the Champions League. Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace remain in contention in the Europa League and Conference League, further cementing the strong influence of English football on the continent’s stage.
This collective performance was decisive for the Premier League’s UEFA coefficient, the system used by Europe’s governing body to measure the strength of each league and allocate spots in international competitions.
At the end of the league, England lead the standings with 20.069 points and hold a considerable advantage over their main competitors. Although Italy is at a disadvantage, La Liga and Bundesliga are still competing for the top spot.
It is worth remembering that the top two associations in the UEFA coefficient will win an additional Champions League spot. This means the Premier League is in a very good position to secure five spots in the next tournament.
Additionally, this scenario would expand opportunities for access to the Europa League and Conference League, benefiting clubs like Fulham, Brentford, and other low-budget outfits.
