COPENHAGEN (AP) — In a season full of teenage stars in the Champions League, 17-year-old Viktor Dadasson scored again for Copenhagen on Wednesday.
The 6ft 3in Iceland youth international found space in Kairat Almaty’s goalmouth and headed in the rebound to take the lead in the 26th minute.
Dadason has already 3rd youngest scorer in the Champions League His 34-season run ended last month in Copenhagen’s 4-2 loss to Borussia Dortmund. Only Ansu Fati and Lamine Yamal were younger when they scored for Barcelona.
Dadasson’s latest goal in his first Champions League start came one night after the 18-year-old Brazilian forward scored. Estevan starred and scored. Chelsea defeated Barcelona 3-0. Estevan outperformed Yamal, who is only 18 years old.
